Biography: Prior to attending law school, Mr. Key was employed as a criminal investigator by the Illinois State Police. He was later assigned to the United States Attorneys office as the supervisor of an organized crime task force unit responsible for the investigation and prosecution of high level criminal organizations throughout the United States. In 2000, he retired as a major in the United States Army Reserve having served as an armored cavalry officer at the company and battalion staff levels. At the time Mr. Key left law enforcement, he was the most highly decorated investigator in his region.
